Adrienne TuckerAdrienne Tucker
40, Senior Meeting Planner Specialist
American Bar Association, Chicago

What I do: “For ABA’s Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar, I plan 24 committee meetings, two trainings, two workshops and four conferences—plus 50 to 54 off-site events annually.”

How I got here: “I started at ABA as an administrative assistant and conference registrar for five different committees. I asked for more responsibility on the conference side and fell in love with meeting planning. I applied for my current position and can’t imagine doing any else.”

Brag-worthy: In her free time, Tucker is pursuing a master’s degree in project management, which “is meeting planning on a much higher level,” she says.

What’s next: Taking the CMP exam.
