Amanda ZochAmanda Zoch
31, Senior Sales Manager
Andaz Savannah, Savannah, Ga.

What I do: “I handle all market segments, and worked to welcome back Georgia Municipal Association for 2016 and 2017, as well as an in-house program for Georgia Independent College Association for later this year and more.”

What I really do: “I make my clients look like rock stars to attendees.”

How she got here: While attending Auburn University, Zoch interned with the team planning events for a Capella Hotel Group property near campus. After graduation, she started booking and coordinating social events for the property before handling other types of groups. “I moved to a larger market and started focusing more on the sales side, and decided it was what I truly loved to do.”

Superstar stats: For the first quarter of 2016, Zoch reached 122 percent of her sales goal and was named manager of the quarter.

What’s next: “With all the movie filming in Savannah, I’m working with the CVB to help with room blocks for the casts coming to town.”
