What I do: “For 12 years, I’ve managed staff and planned all logistics for several large NAIC conferences each year—some with 1,700 attendees.”

What I really do: “Work my magic.”

How I got here: “I’ve worked in hotel sales, travel agencies and as a meeting planner for other companies like Aramark and nonprofits like American Cancer Society.”

Brag-worthy: Steinwand has led the organization in implementing a meetings mobile app, which has had a significant, positive impact on conference attendees.

Greatest career accomplishment: She received the Outstanding Member Recognition Award from PCMA for increasing member retention, staff training and member involvement.
