Kaufman is a career hotel professional. Upon graduation from the University of Denver School of Hotel Management, he has had the opportunity to work with a number of leading hotel ownership and operating companies. Most recently Kaufman joined the team of Greater Ontario CVB. As director of sales, he oversees the sales department for the Ontario Convention Center, Citizens Business Bank Arena and the Greater Ontario CVB.

Career Accomplishments
After beginning his career in hotel convention sales where he successfully developed business in the pharmaceutical and automotive industries, Kaufman moved into a leadership position with Starwood Hotels and Resorts. His career progressed to area director of sales and marketing where he oversaw the sales and marketing leadership effort of multiple Southern California hotels. Kaufman and his team developed new revenue streams including food and beverage sales, spa usage and recreational offerings. In each of the hotels Kaufman has been associated with, his team, through his leadership, exceeded financial objectives and led the competition in market share.
