Meet Splacer, the Airbnb of Venues

Airbnb may have the corner on the market when it comes to home sharing, but Splacer is staking its claim on event venue sharing. The Brooklyn-based startup has aggregated more than 500 off-the-beaten-track venues in New York City and San Francisco, with more spaces and cities on the way. Association planners, keep your eyes on Space #308 (shown above) in the Big Apple. It’s an indoor/outdoor facility located uptown along the water, can host up to 1,500 people, is fully equipped for high-quality audiovisual and lighting, and has charter boat access for dinner river cruises.
