Now Trending in F&B: Matcha

By Anna Dunn, February 29, 2016

What’s the deal with matcha? The bright, finely milled green tea powder dates back to 12th century Japan, where matcha tea ceremonies and rituals were common. It’s said to boost memory, encourage calmness and provide other health benefits thanks to antioxidants. Work with your venue’s catering team to incorporate this vibrant powder into your event’s F&B game plan. (Another idea: Add matcha tea sets to room drops. You’ll need the powder, a small bowl and a whisk for optimal matcha-making.)
