Sacramento, California,Sacramento, California Visit Sacramento is experiencing a true renaissance. With a character all its own, California’s state capital fuses urban farms, farm-to-fork dining, a hip and modern central city, historic landmarks and natural beauty to create an exciting and down-to-earth meeting experience for any size group.

The catalyst is the opening of the new state-of-the-art 17,500-seat Golden 1 Center, the home of NBA’s Sacramento Kings. This four-block multiuse facility will also include up to 1.5 million square feet of additional space to include a new hotel, retail and office space.

The experience for attendees will be of the highest caliber including the concession offerings which will feature locally sourced goods and the latest in technology to enhance the fan experience. Golden 1 Center will be the smartest arena in the country.

On the heels of the new arena, a new 250-room, 16-story Kimpton property, The Sawyer, adjacent to Golden 1 Center will open in 2017. It will include 45,000 square feet of retail space on the first three floors. A Hyatt hotel on the grounds of Sacramento International Airport has also been approved and construction is expected to start within six to 12 months.
