Get Creativity Flowing With Tilt Brush by Google

By Hayley Panagakis, November 21, 2016

Virtual reality has made its way into the art realm thanks to Tilt Brush by Google. Currently available exclusively on Steam (an electronic software distribution platform) using HTC Vive gear, Tilt Brush by Google is an app powered by VR technology that allows users to paint in a 3-D world.

HTC Vive (sold separately) includes a headset and two wireless controllers for each hand—one controller acts as the color palette and settings panel, and the other a paintbrush. Select the color and background you’d like to use in your masterpiece and begin painting by waving the controller in the air.

Set this up during snack breaks for attendees to get creative juices flowing between education sessions. Only one person at a time can paint (unless you set up multiple stations), while others watch the magic happen on a TV display.
