$38 Million Expansion Begins on Boise Centre

By Connect Staff, September 11, 2014

In July, workers broke ground on a $38 million expansion at Boise Centre (Idaho) that is expected to be completed in 2016. The center currently has 50,000 square feet of meeting and event space, a figure that will almost double with the addition of a 15,000-sq.-ft. ballroom, 14,000 square feet of new meeting space, 7,000 square feet of prefunction and lobby space, and 8,000 square feet of renovated meeting space in the existing center. “Our vibrant city and newly expanded meeting space will position Boise to secure larger regional and national conventions that will benefit our local economy,” says Pat Rice, executive director of Boise Centre.
