Site Visit: Dallas Marriott City Center

When the Dallas Westin City Center underwent a brand change to the Dallas Marriott City Center, construction crews changed more than a few signs. The AAA Four Diamond hotel upgraded its more than 400 guest rooms, renovated the lobby area and added a state-of-the-art fitness facility. The property’s new restaurant, Centric, features seasonal cuisine sourced from local producers. The hotel has 25,000 square feet of meeting space in a prime downtown location adjacent to Dallas’ light rail station, DART, and is eight blocks from the Dallas Convention Center. A 15-story atrium opens to a dining and retail complex and includes an indoor skating rink.
